I just finished making two 7ft. pillars that will go at the end of my driveway. I'll post some pics as soon as I get the camera back from my teenage daughter.LOL
I'm also currently working on some little people for my yard, & to sell.
I can't believe it's almost time! YEAH!

Love the snake. Will the eyes light up?

no> no eyes planned yet--he may be a blind melon snaklin
but I could sneak a couple in there maybe..I shall have to think about that since food will be covering it.

What about the tongue? What do you mean food will be covering it?

This will be a board I will use in my snake grubyard ..It will have a giant subsnake sandwich on it. If I can find the pic of the sub I'll post it.

This year I am working on 3 things the first is a fence. For the last 10 years my yard has been open to any body and I have had a problem with my stuff damaged and stolen mostly my tombstones. After last years haunt I went out and bought some mice traps and screwed them into the back of the tombstones to give the would be thief a little scare. Second thing is a working Jacobs ladder that will be added to a Frankenstien display in the future. and last but not least I am attempting to make my own spider web caster. A buddy of mine bought one for $90 last year and I liked the effect but dont want to pay the money for one and it doesnt look like that hard to make my own. thats about it other than finding space and modifying all the store bought props my wife picked up last year on clearance. The after halloween sales are about the only thing she gets into at halloween

That's to bad about the thievery, but I like your idea ..hope it works >would like to see that ...LOL
I have a webcaster but haven't used it yet, I need a better air compressor. I got mine for 38.99 during a group buy thing.. reg 45.99 at the time.
I have a few store boughts that eventually I would like to hack also..

I tell ya, those after Halloween clearance sales can really help out. Even though I make a lot of my stuff, things like spider webs, critters, & lights really help.
I don't know how to do a mold, But I wish I did !

We're working on a garage full of fairy tales. Snow white queen's room, then grandma's room with wolf disguised as Grandma from little red riding hood, then forest with gingerbread house from Hansel & Gretel, then scene from Alice in Wonderland with giant mushroom and hookah caterpillar then outside we plan to have the headless horseman and a cinderella coach.

What kind of mold do you want to make? MonsterMakers' Website has some free instructions on it regarding making molds. They also have some really great kits.
I had never made anything from latex until I bought one of the Mask Making kits and made my first mask. Then I started making latex hands, claws, tentacles, etc.
They also had stuff to teach me how to make a silicone mold which I used to make plastic bobblehead dolls. You should check them out...they are a professional prop making house and their stuff is reasonable and reliable.
