- My brothers and I have been doing hauntings for about 25 years counting the haunted house years. I used to do haunted houses for the Jaycees in Ohio. When a civic group dropped out I gave the room to my little brother in jr. high. The judges awarded him first place. Now our kids and their significant others joined in and we are now known as "The Harrison Haunts". We always have at least a half dozen "live" monsters The Haunted Yard gets set up and taken down on the 31st. No vandalizm. We always have a great time!
