Buddy the Dog, came in second in both costume Halloween matches.
He lost to a Taco the first time and a Cheerleader at the second show. He loved the attention and the treats, however it was "strip tease Buddy" right after winning for the 2nd time! Ha ha ha.

I'm sorry for being so rude as to not to reply to the great "Welcome's" here! So let me try and make it up to all of you.
I live in Mobile, Alabama and have done yard haunts for about the last 6 years. Added a little each year and hope to be a really good one this year. We (hubbie and I) just closed on a house that has the absolute PERFECT yard for a haunt - small front yard, fairly clear with a wooded back, am I gonna have FUN planning this one!

I have learned that depending on a prop will 99% reliable while an actor isn't. But the scare and timming of an actor can not be matched. I think a combination of the two can be very effective. One as the distractor one as the scarer. What do you think?

I have been doing a yard haunt for about 10 years now. It started with carved pumpkins and cheap decorations but that wasnt enough every year it gets bigger and better.
